We teach real-world self defense, in methods based on tradition and reinforced by scientific study of movement and contact. We maintain close connections with our founding karate-do school in Japan, where all of our instructors and advanced students are ranked. This approach has resulted in very accomplished instructors that consistently produce championship-level competitors.

We endeavor to reach as many students as possible by maintaining close connections to the communities we teach in. We keep our overhead low by holding training and events in schools, community centres and parking. We also offer discounts to families, seniors and disadvantaged youth.
